....the great super-macho late action-actor Charles Bronson NEVER did any porn, but he enjoyed movie scripts where some light 'action' was involved(cpl. boobs, cpl. butts, nothing too wishy-washy).
The Wildey Firearms Company was on the verge of bankruptcy & about to go out of business when Death Wish 3 came to the Drive-In Theaters. Like the two preceding DW flicks, this one featured public vigilante Paul Kersey as judge, jury, & executioner relieving inner-city crime statistics by killing all who cross his path with ill intent.
In DW3 we see a new handgun, ...er...HAND CANNON! The Wildey Auto Mag. ..it fires a huge round, the .475 Wildey Magnum, which is a scaled down version of the Winchester .458 magnum big game round used in elephant & rhino hunts in Africa.
Sales of the Wildey Auto Mag. took off, specifically the exact model used in the movie, the 'Survivor' with a 10" barrel...saving the company from financial ruin.
In the Dirty Harry Callahan movie "Sudden Impact", featuring Clint Eastwood, he brandished a Wildey Auto Mag. for the final shoot-out with the bad guys...blowing them all away with one hit each.
Today the Wildey Auto Mag. .475-10" is still produced & available for about $1,800. It is sold in every state except California. In CAL it is legal to own this pistol, however, it's sale is all but forbidden...dealers are "discouraged" from selling it there.
